Emma began her working life at Ogilvy & Mather in London. In 1999 she transferred to Ogilvy in New York and gained her first experience of living internationally, and instantly fell in love with the city. After meeting her future husband in 2001, Emma returned back to the UK and settled into the London suburbs. In June 2007 Emma’s husband’s job took them and their two young children back to New York.
When Emma’s children began school at LREI (Little Red and Elisabeth Irwin High School), a 14 year downtown progressive school, Emma became involved in a number of activities including acting as parent rep, and co-chairing the bi-annual “Big Auction”. In 2012 she joined the Board of Trustees at LREI. During her tenure, she helped complete the “Building for Action” campaign, co-chaired the Development Committee, acted as a key fundraiser on behalf of the school – helping the annual fund achieve record contributions - and was also a member of the Endowment Committee.
Emma is an active volunteer with Make-A-Wish Metro NY and is a member of the Board and Women’s Council.
Emma and her family live in Soho and enjoy exploring the City and travelling both internationally as well as to other areas of the United States.
