Vivienne Swenson is currently a sophomore at NEST+m upper-grades school in Manhattan. She has been swimming from a very young age and has found both comfort and joy in the pool. She received her lifeguard certification during the summer of 2019, and was compelled to join First Strokes as an instructor after learning about how many of her peers had not learned how to swim. She hopes not only to help teach people around the city how to swim, but to also spread the word about the importance of this essential life skill.
